I am thrilled to see Rowe’s Research Runners continue to grow, and am honored and humbled to co-captain the team with Colleen Marden this year! The mission of RRR is to fundraise, increase awareness and facilitate connections for people with chronic fatigue syndrome (CFS), dysautonomia and related illnesses.

I have had the honor of being Dr. Rowe’s patient for the past 15 years, during which time he has helped me to go from bedridden and homebound to enjoying a much higher quality of life. I live with both chronic fatigue syndrome and dysautonomia.

During the past 15 years, I have seen not only how Dr. Rowe has touched my life but the overwhelming impact he has had on the entire community of people living with and helping people with these illnesses. What makes him stand out is his humanity, humility, his never-give-up attitude, his compassion, his empathy, his ‘always as something new to try’ approach, and of course, his humor.

Supporting Dr. Rowe’s research, advocacy, mentoring, teaching and commitment to patient care has become one of my greatest passions. We currently face an epidemic of illnesses like CFS and dysautonomia, a shortage of practitioners and a lack of funding.

Your donations go directly to supporting Dr. Rowe’s research.

I can think of no better way to give back to the person who has given me the life I have today.

On the day after the Baltimore Running Festival, RRR will be having a One Mile Walk/Run/Roll and Reception (including live music and superheroes!) in my hometown of State College, PA. More info:

Thank you to all of you who have supported me over the past two decades—with your love, your compassion, your donations, your visits. This journey cannot be done alone.

Thank you again for your donation. No amount is too small and every amount goes to Dr. Rowe’s research.
